However, he did state:
In response to counts one, two and three Allen Hassan stated there were "structural problems" with the lawsuit he prepared.
Hassan said he did not have a basis for opposing a summary judgment motion filed by defendant.
He then said the judge dismissed the case because it was not being diligently prosecuted.
Regarding count four Hassan says the lawsuit he filed was not correctly denominated and was abandoned for another lawsuit.
For counts five, six and seven the claim was apparently against a government agency but no government tort claim was timely filed, and as a result the judge dismissed the case.
Allen Hassan then filed two appeals. However, because he did not provide transcripts to the court of appeal the appeals were dismissed.
For count eight Attorney Hassan admits he did not deposit money from a client into his attorney trust account because the account had been closed!
(No explanation is provided for what could have caused his attorney trust account to be closed.)
For counts nine and ten Hassan denies hiring one attorney not allowed to practice law, but admits hiring the disbarred attorney.
For counts eleven and twelve attorney Allen Hassan says he did not know the requirement regarding reporting the discipline against his medical license to the State Bar.
For count thirteen Hassan denies knowing he was in violation of his bar requirements.
For counts fourteen, fifteen, sixteen and seventeen Hassan says he charges $500 per hour, evaluated the client's case, but found no basis for proceeding with making claims.
For count eighteen attorney Allen Hassan says he agreed to refund his client the $6500 retainer but did not have the money to do so. He offered one or more horses but his client declined.
Allen Hassan was admitted to the California Bar in 1982. Bar Number 104024.
