Privacy Policy

General Rules

We have created this informational disclosure about privacy issues. Your access or use of this website constitutes your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you are not authorized to access this website.

Lawzilla may sale products and services and have access to information necessary for product and service fulfillment and to communicate with customers. Generally, payments are handled by a third party processor. The only information we typically have access to is a name and email address which are maintained by the payment processor. That information is not sold or transferred by us to third parties.

At this time Lawzilla does not collect personal and private information.

The website does have an email contact form. If you make use of the form you agree any information you provide is not private. We do not sell or disclose email addresses to others except as required or needed for legal purposes and/or to protect our interests.

Cookies

Lawzilla does not set or use cookies.

However, it is possible various programs used to operate the site do. If so, you should review the privacy policy of the website setting the cookie. That information is not shared with Lawzilla.

We may display advertising from companies such as Google, eBay, Amazon, and others. They may use cookies to serve ads. For example, Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html. We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. That information is not shared with us. We do not collect or have access to this information about you.

We do not track you across websites and do not know how to create that capability. As such, "do not track" web browser requests are ignored - not because Lawzilla is tracking you - but because there is no tracking mechanism in place.

Minors

We do not direct this website to minors, nor does we knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

Links

Lawzilla links to other websites and those other websites may collect personal and privage information about you, allow you to make purchases from those sites, have advertising and third party advertising, and so on.

Any personal and privage information collected by other websites is not shared with Lawzilla.

Court and Government Records

Lawzilla collects and posts public information from public government and court records.

We do not have any special access to information that you do not have. The information is not confidential or private. Our reporting and publication of US government records is protected by the First Amendment.

The European Union GDPR General Data Protection Regulations do not apply. We publish public records from government entities in the United States and not EU data. European citizens cannot demand that their information be removed from United States courts. Even in the EU the GDPR does not require that information in official government records be expunged or prohibited from republication.

The California Consumer Privacy Act does not apply. The Lawzilla.com website is not registered in the United States and its server is not located in California. Lawzilla does not meet the financial requirements (eg large corporations) the law targets. We do not buy or sell any consumer data. Most importantly, we do not collect personal information from California consumers. The fact your name or information about you is included in a court order or government website means that information is public. The California law does not give anyone the right to demand the government delete information about you and it does not grant a right to demand anyone delete a copy of government information. The CCPA does not give individuals the right to sue for damages. The First Amendment also preempts any attempt to use the privacy law as a tool for censorship in the US.
