Defendants’ Motion for an Order Deeming Requests for Admission Admitted; Request for Sanctions, filed on 12/19/18, is GRANTED. The Request for Admissions is deemed admitted against Plaintiff, Art Mendoza.

The Court imposes sanctions in the total amount of $738.30 against Plaintiff, Art Mendoza, and his attorney of record, David M. Shaby II, for the failure to provide verified responses to authorized methods of discovery, which constitutes discovery abuse (Cal. Code Civil Procedure §2023.010(a)(4)) and for failure to serve a timely response to Requests for Admission necessitated this motion (Cal Code Civil Procedure §2033.280). Such sanctions are payable within thirty (30) days.
