John Rios vs. Raghvendra Singh

Nature of Proceeding: Default Hearing

Filed By: Perlee, Kiersta D.

APPEARANCE REQUIRED.

At the time of hearing, Plaintiff shall be prepared to prove his damages for emotional distress as well as pain and suffering. The documentary adequately supports economic damages in the amount of $1,782,793.06.

Defendant Singh is out of court, and his various arguments that the underlying default should be set aside are not properly before the court. Moreover, the arguments duplicate arguments Singh has tendered previously and which the court has rejected. The court continues to reject Singh’s arguments for reasons stated in the orders dated 8/10/16, 1/18/17, 1/09/18 and 2/07/18.

Singh’s request for leave to pose questions at the hearing is DENIED. (See Devlin v. Kearny Mesa Amc/Jeep/Renault (1984) 155 Cal.App.3d 381, 385.)
