This matter is continued on the court’s own motion to 3/23/2018 at 02:00PM in this department.

Self-represented defendant filed a Declaration stating that he was unable to contact plaintiff’s counsel to meet and confer as required by CCP 430.41.

Moving party shall file and serve by March 16, 2016 the required meet and confer declaration, which declaration should identify any issues raised in the demurrer that have been resolved via the meet and confer process.

CCP 430.41 (a) provides that before filing a demurrer, the moving party shall meet and confer in person or by telephone with the party who filed the pleading that is subject to the demurrer for the purpose of determining if an agreement can be reached that would resolve the objections to be raised in the demurrer.
