TENTATIVE RULING

Counsel for Ds, Southcoast Automotive Liquidators, Inc. dba Galaxy Auto Mall (i.e. James S. Sifers of Madison Law, APC) Motion To Be Relieved as Counsel is GRANTED. The order is signed by the court and a conformed copy will be mailed to Mr. Sifers in the self-stamped and addressed envelope provided. Order is effective upon the filing of a proof of service indicating that the order has been served on the party.

Southcoast Automotive Liquidators is a corporation and is required to have counsel. Southcoast Automotive Liquidators, Inc. dba Galaxy Auto Mall is ordered to secure replacement counsel or appear and show cause on 3/12/2018 at 8:30 a.m. as to why no counsel has been substituted on its behalf. In addition to the OSC regarding dismissal after arbitration, the court also sets an OSC regarding striking the Answer of Southcoast Automotive Liquidators, Inc. dba Galaxy Auto Mall for failure to have representation on 3/12/2018 at 8:30 a.m. in Dept. 46. Himmel v. City Council (1959) 169 CA2d 97 [When a corporation appears without an attorney, a motion to strike the complaint/answer is appropriate.]

Mr. Sifers is ordered to give notice of this ruling to all parties and to Southcoast Automotive Liquidators, Inc. in addition to the separate order on form MC-053.
