Imposition of sanctions are warranted for costs incurred to prepare the motion. The court imposes total sanctions of $630 in favor of Defendants and against Plaintiff, Anita Van Duyn and her counsel of record, Cannon Law, for Plaintiff’s failure to respond to an authorized method of discovery, which constitutes discovery abuse. Cal. Code Civil Procedure §2023.010(a)(4). Such sanctions are payable within thirty (30) days.
