DPR CONSTRUCTION, INC.’S MOTION TO COMPEL RESPONSES TO SPECIAL INTERROGATORIES AND REQUEST FOR SANCTIONS TENTATIVE RULING:
Defendant DPR Construction, Inc.’s motion to compel Plaintiff Jerod Bristow to provide responses to special interrogatories is GRANTED. Code Civ. Proc. § 2030.290. All objections are waived. Code Civ. Proc. § 2030.290(a). Plaintiff shall serve responses to Defendant’s special interrogatories, without objections, within 15 days of this Order.
Defendant’s request for sanctions is GRANTED-IN-PART. The Court awards sanctions against Plaintiff and his counsel, jointly and severally, in the amount of $500, which shall be paid to Defendant within 15 days of this Order.
If the tentative ruling is uncontested, it shall become the order of the Court. Thereafter, counsel for Defendant shall prepare a written order consistent with the Court’s ruling for the Court’s signature, pursuant to California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1312, and provide written notice of the ruling to all parties who have appeared in the action, as required by law and the California Rules of Court.
