Plaintiff’s motion to compel defendant Mastagni’s further responses to certain form and
special interrogatories and to certain requests for admissions is GRANTED in part and
DENIED in part, as follows.

Although the notice of motion provided notice of the Court’s tentative ruling system as
required by Local Rule 1.06(D), the notice does not comply with that rule. Plaintiff is
directed to review the Local Rules, effective 1/1/2013.

Defendant’s counsel is admonished for failing to comply with CRC Rule 3.1113(f).

The motion is granted as to form interrogatory No. 16.2 and to requests for admissions
Nos. 14-27. Defendant Mastagni to provide verified responses, without additional
objections, to these discovery requests no later than 5/23/2014.

The motion is denied as to the remaining form and special interrogatories for the
reasons stated in the opposition papers.

Neither side requested monetary sanctions and none are awarded. This minute order is effective immediately. No formal order or other notice is required.

responses to certain special interrogatories is DENIED for the reasons stated in the
opposition papers.
