OSC Re: Defendant Ross is off calendar as Ross Answered the Complaint on 11/15/2017. The matter is still not ready for trial setting as Plaintiff has not added the party “Staff Pay, Inc. as represented in the last hearing and A-List, Inc. dba Kitson has not been served or appeared in the action. Although Plaintiff indicated on the last Case Management Statement that A-List, a corporation, is no longer in business, Plaintiff is required to follow the service procedure set forth in CCP §416.20(a) or (b) and Corp. Code §2011(b). Therefore Plaintiff is ordered to file a proof of service as to A-List, Inc. dba Kitson or dismiss that entity by 2/16/2018 or file a declaration showing good cause for failure to do so. OSC regarding sanctions or dismissal of unserved defendants and continued Case Management Conference is set for hearing on 2/23/2018. Plaintiff is ordered to give notice.
