The claim of exemption is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part since the Court is not
persuaded that all of the earnings of the judgment debtor are needed for his/her
support and/or the support of family members and since it appears that several of the
claimed monthly expenses are excessive.

The Sheriff is therefore directed to garnish $112 per pay period, not to exceed $224
per month, from the judgment debtor’s earnings and return to the judgment debtor
forthwith all funds withheld in excess of that amount.

The employer may send one payment of $224 per month to avoid unnecessary
administrative expenses. (Code Civ. Proc. §706.025.)
