The claim of exemption is denied to the extent of $300 per pay period or $600 per
month (CCP § 703.051). The Sheriff is therefore directed to garnish $300 per pay
period not to exceed $600 per month, from the judgment debtor’s earnings, and to
return to the judgment debtor any funds it is holding greater than that amount. The
employer may send one payment of $600 per month to avoid unnecessary
administrative expenses. (CCP § 706.025)
