Bob Khakshooy Sanctions

THIS IS A RED ALERT ABOUT ATTORNEY BOB KHAKSHOOY

It is rare to see so many sanctions orders against an attorney, especially in such a short period of time. We are not recommending that anyone hire this attorney.

Note: Lawzilla has MORE sanctions orders against Khakshooy. This is only a few of the orders.

MAIRA CERVANTES vs. TOM LOUIS BASCUE - Bob Khakshooy we believe is the attorney for the plaintiff based on the online Los Angeles County case summary for this matter.

In a tentative ruling a Los Angeles County judge levies big sanctions of $966 against Mr. Khakshooy personally.

From the ruling this is what happened:

The Bob Khakshooy law firm represents the plaintiff in this matter. The defendant served requests to produce documents and written questions to answered on Khakshooy's office for his client to answer. This was in October 2017.

Normally, there are about thirty days to provide responses.

The defendant gave an extension of time.

The defendant then gave at least one more extension of time.

Defense counsel then attempted to meet and confer with Khakshooy about getting responses to discovery.

Still nothing was provided.

Finally, almost five months later in March 2018 defendant filed motions to compel.

The court granted the motions and required attorney Bob Khakshooy's client to answer within ten days.

The court then sanction Bob Khakshooy, Esq., $966 for discovery abuse.

It is noteworthy that the court found Mr. Khakshooy in the wrong and sanctioned him and not just his client.

Overall - a very disturbing order when you consider what the judge said.

First, attorney Khakshooy did not get responses from his client to the discovery despite the defendant giving multiple extensions of time to respond.

Second, even after defense counsel attempted to meet and confer with Khakshooy nothing was provided.

Third, the situation was so bad the motions for sanctions were not even opposed. Khakshooy just let his client be sanctioned, as well as himself.

Fourth, that Bob Khakshooy was personally deserving of sanctions.

Nothing is more powerful than comments from a judge to let you know how an attorney really handles (or mishandles) a case.

CECILIA AMEZQUITA VS WSP 1310 WILTON LLC - Bob Khakshooy we believe is the attorney for the plaintiff based on the online Los Angeles County case summary for this matter, and a declaration he filed in this matter.

From the ruling this is what happened:

The Bob Khakshooy law firm represents the plaintiff in this matter.

The judge noted, disturbingly, that the day before the deposition defense counsel called attorney Khakshooy's law office to confirm the deposition was taking place. The attorney was told the call would be returned, but it never was, and there was no explanation for why no one appeared at the deposition.

The court's ruling also observes that attorney Bob Khakshooy did not bother to oppose the motion to compel a deposition and for sanctions.

The judge then said the court was going to impose $1265 in sanctions against attorney Khakshooy, payable within twenty days.

Apparently, attorney Khakshooy also did not make any objections, thus waiving any objections his client may have had to the requests.

Defendant then filed a motion to compel and sought sanctions.

Once again, Bob Khakshooy did not oppose the motion.

The judge then ordered Khakshooy to pay another $757.50 in sanctions. This amount was payable in thirty days.
