Attorney Robert Kallman Kent, Esq.

Robert Kent (Robert Kallman Kent for specificity) was admitted to the California Bar in 1970. Bar Number 45431. That makes him a bit elderly.

Have you heard of drivers who lose their license because they should not be out on the road? That might be the situation here.

In the case titled Jeff Gold v. Doe Defendant, we saw this tentative ruling in a case.

LOL. Definitely worth checking out.

The judge had a bit of fun writing this opinion.

After cross-referencing the case number with the Los Angeles Superior Court case summary for this case, we are reasonably sure the plaintiff's attorney Kent, is Robert Kent. Bob has been practicing a long time.

Reading between the lines, Kent seems to be nice enough. Perhaps he is a great lawyer.

When practicing.

Apparently, Kent proudly told the judge more than once he has been practicing law for 44 years. (As if that excuses everything and the other attorney's motion for sanctions.) That likely makes him at least 70 years old.

But he only practices half the year.

And when he does practice he does not read his mail in much detail.

And an attorney practicing so many years should have better judgment and skills so as to reduce the number of questions needed to be asked in a garden variety case.

The maximum number of special interrogatories allowed in a case is 35. Beyond that an attorney has to justify the number. Kent sent 181.

We are not sure how an attorney practices only half a year if he is litigating cases in court.

Is the court supposed to shut-down for half a year to accommodate his schedule?

What happens to mail during the other half of the year?
