Ruth Rose has been the subject of an astounding five separate matters with the State Bar resulting in four different suspensions.

In 1991, just a year after passing the bar, Ruth Rose was suspended for failing to pay her bar dues.

In 2007, Ruth Rose was disciplined and place on probation. She failed to attend hearings, including a hearing where the judge ordered her to attend. She was sanctioned by the court and failed to pay the sanctions.

In 2008, she was again suspended for failing to pay her dues.

She was suspended a second time in 2008 for failing to pass a professional responsibility test. This type of test is often required of attorneys who have been disciplined.

In 2011, Ruth Rose was suspended yet again. This was for continuing to practice law during a time she had previously been suspended.
