DANNY ZADOK VS THE TARZANA SPRINGS, G&K MANAGEMENT CO INC - This tentative ruling says George Shalhoub, representing the plaintiff, was being sanctioned a significant $1465 by the court for not allowing his client to be videotaped. The defendant sent a notice saying the plaintiff "may" be videotaped. George Shalhoub apparently failed to object that this did not satify notice requirements. At the deposition there was a videographer and the plaintiff refused to be taped on religious grounds as an Orthodox Jew. Plaintiff and his attorney then refused to pay for the videographer's time to attend. The court criticized this move by attorney George Shalhoub in deciding to issue sanctions.
